Discussion panel: Where are they going?

Lennie Wilson chaired another successful discussion panel, titled ‘Where are they going’ last Wednesday at The Walton Community Care Centre during JCS’s Welcome Wednesday drop-in style café.

Joined by Timothy Lovat, Paul Winocour, Jackie Sevitt and Shayna Conn the discussion revolved around the future of the Glasgow Jewish community. Conversation centred around community discussing a range of topics relating to youth movement, education, passing on the Jewish identity and other ongoing issues affecting the community.

Shayna adds: “When the children feel confident with their Jewish identity and feel positive and proud, I know I’ve done my job!”
