Jewish Care Scotland are inviting children to come along to Welcome Wednesday where “kids eat free” throughout the summer. Welcome Wednesday runs every week between 12 and 3pm. Kids coming along to Welcome Wednesday can choose from soup and snacks, catered by Mark’s Deli and Newlands Bakery.
Senior Support Worker at Jewish Care Scotland, Jean Guthrie said of the summer initiative: “We are delighted to be able to offer a variety of supports to families this summer. Our Get set for summer Grant and Kids Eat Free offered at Welcome Wednesday are designed to help out during a time which can bring along with it a lot of additional pressures. We encourage anyone interested in finding out more about what support JCS can offer to get in touch to have a confidential chat with our team and we look forward to welcoming families along on Wednesdays 3 July.”
If you’re looking for something to do with the kids or grandkids over the summer, why not bring them along to our community café, Welcome Wednesday? Kids eat free every week during the summer holidays! With a range of sandwiches, soup and snacks on offer as well as an activity pack to let you enjoy your lunch in peace too.
